Incorrect GP prescriber details or GP prescriber codes that aren’t linked to the correct practice creates additional work for both NHS Prescription Services and commissioner having significant impact on monitoring and benchmarking prescribing activity. 
We provide a service to include the following:

• Assist in ensuring prescribing costs are attributed to the correct GP prescriber and prescribing budget.
• Produce a 'Prescriber Changes Guidance' for GP practices 
• Liaise with practice managers/GPs to ensure correct GP practice registration documentation is completed.
• Monthly review of the NHS BSA “Invalid Prescriber Report”
• Provide an GP prescriber code queries helpdesk function.
